Lake Forest Park Civic Club
With beach access, space to rent indoors and out for private parties, and regular events that bring this community together, the Lake Forest Park Civic Club is a private club set at the foot of Ballinger Way NE. A beautifully maintained waterfront beach, a frequently visited spot for members especially during the Northwest’s stunning, sunny summer months, is complete with picnic areas, a swimming beach, large fixed-pile pier, a boat launch, and an additional array of outdoor amenities. The little ones love to explore the sandy beach and playground. And for private parties, both a picnic shelter and clubhouse are available to rent to members and non-members alike. Brides and grooms have raved about the beautiful setting for their wedding, and loved ones have praised the outdoor spaces when celebrating birthdays or gathering for reunions. The club is a non-profit organization with the designated responsibility of maintaining and preserving the common property. Membership is open to single-family homeowners living in the designated area, with limited opportunities for associate memberships.
Sheridan Beach Community Club
A shared private beach and swimming pool offering activities, lessons, and an abundance of recreation on Lake Washington, members of the Sheridan Beach Community Club rave about the sense of community that is fostered around a love of the water. The pool, 75 feet long, is open to 100 swimmers at a time, allowing ample opportunity to splash around on Lake Forest Park’s hottest days. When members are ready to hit the lake, the club owns and borrows kayaks and standup paddleboards, but many members opt to bring their own for launching onto the lake on a serene and sunny day. Here, boaters can also moor for their daytime stay. Membership is open to those living in the deeded Sheridan Beach and Sheridan Heights area, with associate memberships available to those living outside the boundaries.
